QUANTUS revolutionizes access control through the principle of dematerialization: Less physical hardware, drastically reduced costs, and maximum scalability through an intelligent, virtual complete system.

STAQ is a complete system. Each hardware component has a hardware secure element. The system uses end-to-end encryption (PKI) and integrated AI for anomaly detection.
The system grows infinitely (for thousands of access points) and can be seamlessly integrated into existing buildings or even switch programs without having to tear down walls.

STAQ. The QUANTUS-reader is more of a system. Using stackable modular technology, the base system can be expanded with high-performance modules (e.g., Audio, IO, PoE, LTE). This enables high-performance applications such as image processing, speech recognition, and AI directly on-site.
Stacking instead of cabling.
The secret to flexibility lies in stackable circuit board technology. Various expansion modules can be easily plugged directly onto the base module via an internal high-speed bus. This transforms the reader completely invisibly within a flush-mounted switch box into a customized and intelligent complete system.

Adapts to the architecture. Not the other way around.
With surface-mounted and flush-mounted variants, the modules can be easily integrated anywhere and adapted to a wide range of customer requirements. Indoors, the reader units can be seamlessly integrated into existing switch programs, offering maximum design freedom for architects and planners.

With the next-level access control from QUANTUS, the complex, intermediate hardware layer is completely eliminated. We call this dematerialization: The classic physical control unit is replaced by a smart, virtual solution. The necessary sensors and I/O interfaces shift directly into the door into the IoT world. This drastically reduces cabling effort and creates absolute flexibility for any building infrastructure.

The STAQ modules are commissioned very easily and securely via the Q-App using a smartphone. For daily management of access rights, visitors, and monitoring through AI-supported anomaly detection, you conveniently use the web-based QUANTUS Dashboard – hosted locally or in the cloud.

Conventional systems are based on expensive hardware and complex wired control units in the middle layer. QUANTUS eliminates this hardware completely and replaces it with the virtual controller Q-ACU. This saves massive costs and enables a fully scalable system architecture.
Absolutely. Every single component is secured by end-to-end encryption, has its own certificate (PKI), and an integrated hardware secure element. Additionally, AI-supported anomaly detection monitors the system in real time for atypical processes.
In most cases, no. By using WLAN and BLE, the cabling effort can be massively reduced or even completely avoided. Alternatively, we use existing standard cabling via LAN with PoE (Power-over-Ethernet). Distances to barrier systems can be easily bridged via the LTE module.
Yes, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing installations – as a clever addition or as a complete modernization, without any expensive conversions. In indoor areas, the readers blend visually into all common switch ranges. Thanks to open interfaces, third-party systems can also be connected without any problems.
